Understanding open positions and P/L

An open position shows its direction, size, entry price and the instrument it's on. You can review all of your positions — pending, open and closed — from the Trades page.

When a position closes, its profit or loss is applied to your balance and shown alongside the trade. Percentage-of-account tools like the Trading Tools calculators can help you plan position sizing and risk before you submit a request.
